Court Case: State Bank of India Vs. Smt. Kelo Devi Late Sh. Randhir Singh, husband of Smt. Kelo Devi, had availed a pension loan from the State Bank of India, Safidon Gate, Jind. Unfortunately, after his demise, the outstanding loan remained unpaid. Consequently, the bank initiated recovery proceedings for the pending amount of ₹3,13,898 by filing Application No. 178/2023 before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Jind. In this difficult situation, Smt. Kelo Devi approached the President, Sewak The Partner Welfare Society, Panchkula, seeking legal assistance. Considering the merits of the case, Sh. D.N. Gautam, Legal Officer of the Society, examined all relevant documents, drafted the reply, and ensured that it was duly filed before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Jind. Due to the persistent and dedicated efforts of Sewak The Partner Welfare Society, Panchkula, the case titled State Bank of India, Safidon Gate, Jind Vs. Smt. Kelo Devi was dismissed in favour of Smt. Kelo Devi, and no payment whatsoever was required to be made by her to the bank. In accordance with the aims and objectives of the Society, the case of Smt. Kelo Devi was handled and defended completely free of cost, ensuring justice for a deserving widow without any financial burden.
